Young Mice Blood Boosts Older Mice Brains, Muscles
(Undated) -- A dramatic discovery could open a way to reverse the effects of aging. Three studies published over the weekend show that blood from young mice can restore the muscles and brains of older mice. Researchers from Harvard and Stanford universities surgically attached younger mice to older animals and had them share the same blood supply. An earlier Harvard study indicates the same technique improved the hearts of older mice.
