Wife Of Driver Killed In Paul Walker Crash Sues Porsche
(Los Angeles, CA) -- The wife of the driver killed in a fiery car crash along with "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker is suing Porsche Cars North America. Kristine Rodas filed the lawsuit Monday in Los Angeles. She claims the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT her husband Roger Rodas was driving at the time of the 2013 crash had faulty mechanics that caused the fatal accident. The suit alleges the Porsche didn't have a proper crash cage or a fuel cell in its gas tank to stop the fuel from igniting in case of a crash. Rodas' attorney says investigators he hired to evaluate the crash disagree with the California Highway Patrol's finding that speed, rather than mechanics, led to the accident. Kristine Rodas is seeking unspecified damages from Porsche.
