(Washington, DC) -- The White House continues pushing hard on immigration reform. Senator Marco Rubio tells "CBS This Morning" this issue is more than just immigration. The Florida Republican says the debate involves children and mothers, which makes it a humanitarian issue. Presidential spokesman Josh Earnest responded to Republican House critics yesterday, saying the White House places a big priority on border security. Earnest insisted that the nation's immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed. House Republican leaders continue resisting a sweeping, bipartisan reform bill the Senate approved last year.
