White House Official To Visit Troubled Phoenix VA Facility

(Washington, DC) -- Family members of mistreated veterans at the Phoenix VA hospital are speaking out. Kim Sertich says doctors neglected warning signs that led to her fathers death.
White House official Rob Nabors will visit the troubled Phoenix VA facility later this week. Up to 40 veterans may have died because of scheduling problems at the VA health clinic in Arizona. There are growing concerns that the problems may extend far beyond Phoenix. President Obama has directed Nabors to work with the VA in investigating and resolving the problems. White House Spokesman Jay Carney says once the facts are known, necessary improvements will be ordered.
