White House: Obama's Upcoming Trip Will Focus On Ukraine Crisis

(Washington, DC) -- National Security Advisor Susan Rice says President Obama's upcoming trip to Europe and the Middle East will focus on "mobilizing the international community" behind efforts to deal with the crisis in Ukraine.
In a White House briefing, Rice said Russia will become increasingly isolated if it does not reverse course. The U.S. and allies have already imposed a series of sanctions on Russia for its annexation of Crimea . More sanctions are threatened. President Obama's trip next week will include a nuclear summit, meetings with NATO allies and a G7 economic conference.
