White House Correspondents' Dinner To Be Served This Weekend
(Washington, DC) -- Hollywood returns to Washington this weekend for the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner. Joel McHale, the star of NBC's "Community" and E!'s "The Soup," has been tapped to host and roast this year's gathering of politicos and celebrities. The guest list this year includes, among others, Tony Goldwyn who plays the President on ABC's "Scandal," Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o , "Live! With Kelly and Michael" co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, Katie Couric and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will, of course, be front and center - and the likely targets of a little McHale-style ribbing.

C-SPAN will cover the White House Correspondents' Dinner live this Saturday, May 3rd. The coverage begins at 6:30 pm Eastern time.
