WH: Most Migrant Children Will Be Returned Home
(Washington, DC) -- The White House insists that most of the undocumented migrant children who have recently come to the U.S. will be deported back to their home countries.
Presidential spokesman Josh Earnest said the children will have to go through due process, but most won't be allowed to stay in the U.S. for humanitarian reasons. The southern border of the U.S. has been inundated with a wave of migrants, mostly women and children, crossing into the U.S. from Mexico and Central America.
