(Westmoreland County, PA) -- All but one of the victims of this morning's stabbing rampage at Franklin Regional High School in suburban Pittsburgh are students. Murrysville Police Chief Thomas P. Seefeld said a 60-year-old security guard was hurt while attempting to subdue the suspect, who is a tenth-grade male student. He added the suspect used two knives in the attack. Seefeld said a student or staff member pulled the fire alarm when the attack began, which helped in getting the school evacuated. The "Pittsburgh Post-Gazette" reports the suspect was tackled by an assistant principal. A total of 19 students were hurt, some of them critically.
