(Minneapolis, MN) -- Six-point-six million dollars in upgrades to TCF Bank Stadium are coming thanks to the use of the facility over the next several seasons by the Minnesota Vikings. The Board of Regents this week heard the plans from the NFL team, which include heating the field. The Vikings will share the stadium with the Minnesota Golden Gophers while their new facility is being built. Temporary bleachers for over 17-hundred fans will be added, and parts of the stadium will be winterized to allow for play into January.
