Vikings Player Shot By Stray Bullet
(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota Vikings' player Linval Joseph says he was an innocent bystander when he was shot by a stray bullet Friday night at a Minneapolis nightclub. The defensive tackle was at the 400 SoundBar Club after the team's 10 to 6 win over the Oakland Raiders when a stray bullet struck him in the calf. He was treated and released at a nearby hospital and is expected to rejoin the team later this week. Police have yet to make any arrests in the shooting case.
