(St. Paul, MN) -- Video of former Journey singer Steve Perry joining the Eels at a performance over Memorial Day weekend in St. Paul is going viral. Perry had not sung live in nearly 20 years before singing one Eels song and two Journey classics during the band's encore at the Fitzgerald Theater on Sunday night. The video has been watched more than 570-thousand times on YouTube since a fan posted it. Perry split with Journey after their 1996 album "Trial by Fire." The 65-year-old singer's voice was noticeably deeper than it used to be as he belted out Journey hits "Open Arms" and "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin."
