VA Secretary Confirms Florida Hospital Investigation

(Gainesville, FL) -- With two deaths attributed to delays at Florida's Malcom Randall VA Hospital, the facility is now under a federal investigation.
Acting Veterans Affairs Secretary Sloan Gibson came to Gainesville Thursday to say he's pushing for change. That includes contacting thousands of local veterans who were on wait lists and extending working hours to weekends. Malcom Randall VA Hospital has been criticized for having some of the worst wait times in the country.
