VA Secretary Answers Critics

(Washington, DC) -- Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki is finally addressing the scandals rocking his department. Speaking to " NBC News," Shinseki made a pledge to all veterans upset over allegations of poor treatment.
The American Legion and two Republican senators called for Shinseki to step down because of recent scandals involving the VA. Officials at a Phoenix VA hospital are being accused of keeping a secret list to hide delays of patients waiting for appointments. Shinseki says he has no plans to resign.
