U.S. Postal Service Loses Billions In Revenue
(Washington DC) -- The U.S. Postal Service continues to lose billions in revenue. The agency is reporting a net loss of close to two-billion dollars in the third quarter compared to 740-million for the same period a year ago. The USPS has now recorded a loss in 21 of the last 23 quarters. The primary reason for the losses is due in large part to the one-and-a-half billion dollar increase for operating expenses as a result to workers compensation payments.
