(Washington, DC) -- U.S. intelligence officials say they believe pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine likely shot down a Malaysian airliner "by mistake." Nearly 300 people were killed when the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 was shot out of the sky over eastern Ukraine last Thursday. Russia is denying any responsibility in the shooting down of the plane. There are concerns about heavy weaponry being smuggled into Ukraine over the Russian border.
