U.S. GDP Expands 4-Percent
(Undated) -- It's more good news for the economy. U.S. Gross Domestic Product expanded at a rate of four percent in the second quarter according to the Commerce Department. The growth was higher than expected, and the faster U.S. GDP growth since 2003. The news could create higher expectations for the last six months of 2014.
The growth comes after a contraction in the first quarter, which was blamed mostly due to the harsh winter.
