(Washington, DC) -- American contractors in Iraq are being relocated as violence from an Islamist insurgency spreads. The State Department confirmed today the contractors are being relocated temporarily by their companies due to security concerns. Earlier today, White House spokesman Jay Carney said the U.S. is not contemplating sending military ground forces to Iraq. Insurgents in Iraq have already captured Mosul and Tikrit and are marching toward Baghdad.
