U.S. Aiding In Search For Missing Plane
(Washington, DC) -- The U.S. is doing what it can to help in the search for a plane that disappeared more than a week ago. U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said U.S. assets are in the southern Indian Ocean.
A satellite spotted the possible debris field off Australia's west coast. Officials are warning that it could take days to determine whether the objects spotted in the water are from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki says the Obama administration is closely monitoring the search for the missing plane.
