Ukraine Will Reject Russian Aid Convoy

(Undated) -- The Ukrainian government now says it will reject a convoy of humanitarian aid from Russia. Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister compared the convoy to a Trojan horse.
Today, Ukraine's prime minister called the convoy of trucks an act of Russian "cynicism." Ukraine's interior minister says the Russian trucks won't be allowed in the country, calling the convoy "provocation by a cynical aggressor."
Russia announced yesterday it was sending 280 trucks containing what it called humanitarian aid to eastern Ukraine. Western leaders have expressed concern that the convoy will pave the way for a Russian invasion of the country. Ukrainian leaders have demanded the trucks be inspected by the Red Cross before the cargo is allowed into the country.
