(Minneapolis, MN) -- Drivers in the Twin Cities are paying considerably less to fill up their cars and trucks than over Memorial Day last year. Triple-A puts the average price in Minneapolis and St. Paul for a gallon of regular unleaded at just under three-dollars-47 cents, a drop of 71-cents a gallon from a year ago. The average price is about two-cents higher than last week. Statewide, Minnesota drivers are paying an average of three-50 a gallon, the 19th lowest in the country.
