(Undated) -- Evacuations are taking place along the coast of Chile and Peru as a magnitude 8.2 earthquake has generated a tsunami. Chile's navy says waves of at least six feet have already hit some northern parts of the country. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a tsunami warning for Chile, Peru, Columbia, Ecuador and Panama. The earthquake struck about 60 miles northwest of the mining town of Iquique . There are no immediate reports of serious injuries or major damage from the quake.
