(Undated) -- Tornadoes could rip into the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic states today. Forecasters say the risk of severe weather extends as far south as the Florida Panhandle and as far north as Virginia and West Virginia. Torrential rains and flooding are soaking the Florida Panhandle this morning. One death is blamed on the flooding in Escambia County. More than 36-million people could be in harm's way today.
