Three Missing In Colorado Mudslide Presumed Dead
(Collbran, CO) -- The three men missing in the this past weekend's western Colorado mudslide are presumed dead. Clancy Nichols, Danny Nichols and Wes Hawkins have been unaccounted for since Sunday. Mesa County Sheriff Stan Hilkey says the search was suspended today due to fears of water build-up on the hill that could result in another large mudslide. The mudslide is estimated to be around two to three miles long, at least a half mile wide, and nearly 250 feet deep.
