Texas Woman Gets Life In Prison For Stiletto Murder

(Houston, TX) -- A Texas woman will be spending the rest of her life in prison for using a stiletto shoe to kill her boyfriend. A Houston jury handed down the sentence to Ana Trujillo this afternoon following over four hours of deliberations. Trujillo was convicted of murder this week for plunging the five-inch heel into Alf Andersson's head at least 25 times last June. Jurors rejected claims by defense attorneys that Trujillo acted in sudden passion because Andersson had hit her. Prosecutors successfully argued Trujillo is dangerous because of how brutal the killing was.
