(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minneapolis-based Target is slashing jobs in the Twin Cities and across the globe. The retailer announced plans to lay off 475 people and not fill 700 open jobs. The "Star Tribune" reports most of the cuts will happen at the company's headquarters but the exact job losses have not been detailed. Target is still reeling from a massive credit and debit card security breach over the holiday season.
