(Minneapolis, MN) -- A suspect is now in custody in connection with a deadly shooting in South Minneapolis. Police say 59-year-old John Alder was attempting to leave the state when he was arrested early Sunday. He is accused of shooting 53-year-old Kenneth Madison in the stomach Friday night. Authorities say Alder has already served an eleven-year prison sentence for causing a deadly accident while fleeing from police in 2000.
