Suspect Accused Of Fatally Shooting Mendota Heights Officer Arrested
(West St. Paul, MN) -- Career criminal Brian Fitch Senior is under arrest for allegedly shooting and killing a Minnesota police officer. St. Paul Police spokesman Sergeant Paul Paulos says Fitch was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a shootout with police, ending a dramatic manhunt.
An unidentified woman with Fitch was also shot and injured. Mendota Heights police veteran Scott Patrick died when he was shot in the head around noon Wednesday during a traffic stop in West Saint Paul.
