(East Rutherford, NJ) -- If you want to see the Super Bowl in person get ready to dig deep. The face value of a cheap seat may be 500-dollars but the average ticket is now selling for 35-hundred bucks. Smita Saran of StubHub says after-market ticket prices for Super Bowl 48 are 33-percent higher than in previous years. Many fans are outraged saying that kind of money would help pay for college or a car. If you're serious about going to the game and you don't have a ticket yet, Saran suggests sitting tight and waiting a bit. She says ticket prices will come down the closer it gets to game day, which is February 2nd.
