(Undated) -- A tropical depression churning in the Atlantic is gaining strength and could become a hurricane just in time to ruin July 4th celebrations for millions. A tropical storm watch is in effect in parts of Florida. While it's too early to predict the exact path of the storm, it could track north up the Eastern Seaboard forcing the cancellation of fireworks shows all along the way. The tropical depression is the first of the 2014 hurricane season. If it grows into a named storm, it'll be called Arthur.
