Storm Cancels Flights, Shuts Governments, Snarls Traffic

(Undated) -- The latest crippling winter storm to slam the eastern half of the U.S. is making it difficult if not impossible for millions of Americans to get anywhere. The storm that canceled three-thousand flights on Tuesday could dump as much as a foot of snow on southern New England today. State officials in Connecticut and Virginia are warning people not to travel if they don't have to. The National Weather Service says temperatures will fall below freezing as far south as northern Florida, and that two more polar fronts will follow this cold snap.
