(New York, NY) -- Stocks were closing down after the Dow dropped 176 points. Disappointing manufacturing data in China and a mixed bag of corporate earnings led to the selloff. The Dow declined for the third straight session closing at 16-197. The Nasdaq dropped 24 points to close at 42-18 and the S&P was down 16 points to end the session at 18-28.
