Sterling Changed Mind On Ballmer Deal
(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Clippers ownership saga is taking another turn. According to Donald Sterling's attorney Bobby Samini, the banned owner has decided to call the deal off to sell the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Samini tells NBC's "Today" there are no concerns with Sterling's mental state.
Sterling will now pursue a one-billion-dollar lawsuit against the NBA. Shelly Sterling, Donald's wife, had agreed to sell the team to Ballmer for two-billion-dollars. Sterling isn't happy that the league would not lift his lifetime ban and rescind his two and half-million dollar fine.
