(Englewood, FL) -- The pilot who made an emergency landing on a Florida beach is apologizing for the accident that killed a father and daughter. Karl Kokomoor said that words cannot express his sorrow over Sunday's tragedy. Kokomoor said he didn't see the victim or his daughter when he landed on the beach about an hour south of St. Petersburg, saying there was little time to make a decision. He says he didn't realize he had hit anyone until after he climbed out of his single-engine plane. He is promising to cooperate with the federal investigations.
