(Minneapolis, MN) -- The parent company of the Minneapolis Star Tribune has been sold. The Star Tribune Media Holdings Company announced on Monday that it has closed the sale of the corporation to Minnesota billionaire Glen Taylor. The 72-year-old Taylor owns the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx and runs Taylor Corp., which has 80 subsidiaries with nine thousand employees. Officials have not disclosed the financial details of the sale, but say that there would be no changes to the Star Tribune's operations.
