St. Paul Declares State Of Emergency
(St. Paul, MN) -- A state of emergency exists in St. Paul due to the Mississippi River reaching major flood stage over the weekend. The city declared a state of emergency Monday morning, allowing the city to seek funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The city has added staff to its Emergency Operations Call Center, debris removal crews and safety enforcement. The St. Paul City Council will discuss the disaster declaration on Wednesday.
