(Woodside, CA) -- A much-loved former child star is dead at the age of 85. Shirley Temple Black passed away of natural causes yesterday at her home in Woodside, California. Temple began her acting career when she was three-years-old, and she captivated a Depression-weary nation with her singing, dancing and signature curly haircut. Temple starred in 1930's hit movies like "Bright Eyes," Stand Up and Cheer" and "Curly Top."
