(Undated) -- Severe weather is slamming parts of the nation's midsection. More than 40-thousand are without power after heavy thunderstorms downed trees and power lines in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas this afternoon. Spotters also reported tornado touchdowns near Bushnell, Nebraska and Trinidad, Colorado. The National Weather Service says hail, high winds and flash flooding are possible from the Plains to the Southeast heading into the weekend.
