(Undated) -- Dozens of scientists want the World Health Organization to impose tight regulations on e-cigarettes. The scientists warn little research has been done so far on whether using the devices can harm people's health. They point out the tobacco industry introduced filters on cigarettes and also low tar cigarettes when there was no proof those modifications made smoking safer. The Food and Drug Administration is finalizing a proposal for the agency to be granted regulatory oversight of e-cigarettes.
