(Tampa, FL) -- A Florida mother will spend the rest of her life in jail after a Tampa jury found her guilty of killing her teenage children. The jury convicted 53-year-old Julie Schenecker on two counts of first-degree murder. In 2011, Schenecker shot and killed her son Beau and daughter Caylx and wrote in her journal that she was fed up with their backtalk. That diary chronicled how Schenecker planned the murders and helped prosecutors convince the jury that the killings were pre-meditated.
