Roundy's To Leave Twin Cities
(Milwaukee, WI) -- Eighteen Rainbow grocery stores in the Twin Cities area owned by Wisconsin-based Roundy's are being sold. Supervalu is among the investors purchasing the stores for a total of 65-million dollars. Ten stores will change over to Cub Foods, two will become Byerly's and the other six will retain the Rainbow Foods name. Roundy's will continue to operate another nine stores in the area, but plans to close them if they are unable to be sold.
