Report: Mick Jagger In L.A. With Daughters After Girlfriend's Death
(Los Angeles, CA) -- A heartbroken Mick Jagger is said to be in Los Angeles in the company of his children following the shocking suicide death of his longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott. Jagger arrived in L.A. Thursday after leaving Australia where he and his Rolling Stones bandmates were to perform a string of shows before the tragic news. The band has cancelled their tour with promises to reschedule when the time is right. Jagger is reportedly en route to New York City to bury Scott. A rep says Jagger went straight to the home of his daughter Karis upon landing in Los Angeles Thursday. His other daughters Elizabeth and Georgia May are also said to be staying there as well. The rep tells the "New York Daily News," Jagger's daughters "adore him" and that he will stay in L.A. while funeral arrangements are being made in New York.

The New York Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that Scott died of suicide. The 49-year-old former model and fashion designer was reportedly found hanging in her Manhattan apartment Monday by her assistant. Jagger and Scott had been together since 2001.
