(Minneapolis, MN) -- It was a wetter than normal June in the Twin Cities. WCCO reports that Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport received eleven-point-three inches of rain last month, making June 2014 the second wettest on record in the Twin Cities. The wettest June in the Twin Cities took place in 1847 when the area received more than eleven-point-six inches of rain. In addition, the Twin Cities failed to record a 90-degree high temperature in June for the first time since 2003.
