Prosecutors To Retry Dunn Guilty Of Attempted Murder In Loud Music Trial

(Jacksonville, FL) -- Florida prosecutors say they will retry defendant Michael Dunn for first-degree murder. State Attorney Angela Corey says her office is seeking justice for Jordan Davis after Dunn opened fire on the teenager and his friends in their SUV during an argument over loud music in 2012. After four days of deliberations, a jury delivered a guilty verdict for Dunn on four other charges, but deadlocked on whether Dunn murdered Davis. Dunn faces 75 years in prison for his convictions on three counts of attempted murder.
