(Undated) -- Drugmaker Pfizer is throwing in the towel, walking away from its attempt to buy British rival AstraZeneca. After a month of back and forth, Pfizer now says it's abandoning the effort. The 117-billion dollar deal would have been the largest the drug industry has ever seen. Under U.K. law, talks can't start up again for at least three months due to a mandatory "cooling off" period.
