Peter Curtis' Mother Discusses Son's Release From ISIS
(Undated) -- The mother of an American journalist freed by ISIS is overjoyed to know her son is safe. Nancy Curtis tells ABC's "Good Morning America" she was able to talk to her son, Peter, after his release to U.S. government personnel on Sunday.
She says one of the first things she did after finding out was send an email to Diane Foley, the mother of James Foley who was recently killed by ISIS. Peter Curtis had been in captivity since 2012 when he was abducted in Turkey on his way to the Syrian border.
