(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Orchestra Board will meet today and face tough decisions about its leadership moving forward. The board is apparently divided about reuniting with music director Osmo Vanska and the fact that doing so may mean the departure of CEO and president Michael Henson. Performers with the group reportedly asked for Henson to leave and Vanska to return. Vanska quit in October when negotiations for a new contract between musicians and the board failed.
