(Dakar) -- Officials say no survivors have been found at the site where an Algerian plane carrying more than 100 people crashed in northern Africa. State television reports the wreckage was found in the Mali desert close to the border of Burkina Faso . The Air Algerie flight carrying 110 passengers and six crewmembers was flying from Burkina Faso to Algiers when it dropped off radar and lost contact with ground crews. The pilot had requested a change in course because of bad weather.
