(New York, NY) -- President Obama is vowing to fight for more marriage equality in America. Speaking at a Democratic LGBT fundraiser in New York, Obama said when he took office in 2008 only two states allowed same sex marriage compared to 19 now. He said Americans of all age groups are increasingly embracing same sex marriage because they understand that "love is love." Obama's remarks came a day after he announced he will sign an executive order barring federal discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
