(Moscow) -- President Obama says Russia's president has violated international law with his interference in Ukraine. Obama is telling Russian President Vladimir Putin to order troops back to their bases in Crimea to reduce tensions in Ukraine. The President told Putin during a Saturday phone call that Russia has violated international law by sending troops into the Crimean region. The Kremlin reports that Putin told Obama that Moscow has the right to protect its interests in the Ukraine. The Russian President said there are real threats to the life and health of Russian citizens in Ukraine.
