Obama Talks Voting Rights, Attends Show In NYC

(New York, NY) -- President Obama is speaking out about voting rights. Appearing at Al Sharpton's National Action Network conference in New York yesterday afternoon, Obama took issue with Republican state laws that make it difficult for Americans to vote. The President and First Lady Michelle Obama later went out to dinner and attended a performance of "A Raisin in the Sun" starring Denzel Washington. Obama's presence held up traffic in the area and boosted congestion as crowds of onlookers tried to sneak a peek at the President's motorcade.
